The Halton Homes Promise

Many of our new homes are built with timber frames and clad in reclaimed traditional Yorkshire stone. No other building method is so simple, versatile and cost effective. As one of the most popular building techniques used in the world over, timber frame is recognised as the most environmentally friendly way to build. Frames are insulated with CFC free insulation and can easily be specified to a level that far exceeds the requirements of Building Regulations. In short, they heat up very quickly which means they cost less to run; similarly in the summer the insulation keeps them cool and comfortable to live in.

The buying process will endeavour to be as smooth as possible by ensuring we provide you with comprehensive information throughout. Reserving a property is simple, we will ensure that you have full details of the terms of the sale, together with full details about your new home and its location. We will providing you with our Home Pack, which explains everything about the process, proving useful information about the choices and selections available to make every home unique.

The choices and selections vary depending upon the standard specification of the house and the stage of construction. There may be a number of different kitchens and other options offered and we will ensure that the information provided will help you make an informed decision. To provide further opportunities to personalise your home, we will ensure you are also aware of the additional items available from The Designer Collection and the Interior Designer at Halton Homes.

We will keep you informed as the construction of your new home progresses and at the appropriate time we will either agree a legal completion date or serve a Completion Notice. We will arrange a Pre-Handover Demonstration Meeting with you, at your new home, to familiarise you with everything, including kitchen appliances, heating, hot water, security and the main services. We will ensure that you are of aware of our customer care procedures and contact numbers. When legal completion is has taken place, we will release the keys to you. An Halton representative will be on hand to ensure that you are happy with the condition of your new home, take meter readings and hand over any warranties and instruction manuals.

We endeavour to ensure that your new home is problem free but in the unlikely event a problem arises our dedicated customer care personnel will be on hand to assist. Should a service visit be required, we will respond promptly by sending a representative at an agreed date and time to either undertake the repair or to inspect the problem and determine what action is necessary. Should a further visit be required, we will agree a new date for the work to be completed.
